Katerina
Meet Katerina, Co-Founder and CEO of Sandmagination. Katerina has a strong background in science and education, with experience teaching both high school and college students. Her passion for child development and hands-on learning inspired the vision behind Sandmagination, where sensory play becomes a meaningful and engaging way for children to explore, create, and grow.
At Sandmagination, Katerina focuses on creating a space that feels supportive, inclusive, and joy-centered. She designs experiences that encourage curiosity and confidence, making sure every child and family feels welcomed and encouraged to play freely.
Jason
Amanda
Meet Amanda, a member of our Sandmagineer team who brings kindness, patience, and genuine care to every interaction. Amanda has spent her life working closely with people, from the service industry to her work as an EMT and caregiver. Her heart has always been with children, and she loves creating a welcoming environment where they can play freely and be themselves.
As a mom herself, Amanda understands the importance of safe, joyful spaces that encourage imagination. At Sandmagination, she enjoys helping children explore, discover, and experience moments of wonder. She believes there is something truly magical about seeing the world through a child’s eyes, and she brings that sense of warmth and appreciation to each family who visits.
Ariana
Meet Ariana, a member of our Sandmagineer team. Ariana is a college student studying psychology with extensive experience working with children. She is pursuing a career in child psychology and brings a warm, supportive presence to every interaction.
Ariana loves being part of Sandmagination because it gives children the chance to explore their creativity through hands-on STEM activities that make learning fun and exciting. On the play floor, she is dedicated to helping create an environment where kids feel inspired to imagine, play, and discover.
Brittany
Meet Brittany, a member of our Sandmagineer team who brings warmth, patience, and a genuine dedication to supporting children. She has always felt a deep calling to work with kids, and as a parent to a neurodivergent child herself, she understands that every child engages with the world in their own way. Brittany is also fluent in Spanish and is happy to help Spanish-speaking families.
At Sandmagination, Brittany focuses on creating a space where every child feels seen and celebrated. She believes children should be free to explore their creativity, learn at their own pace, and grow into who they are meant to be, and she works to make sure each family finds that kind of welcome here.
Jennifer
Meet Jennifer, a member of our Sandmagineer team who has been working with children since 2018. She has been a preschool teacher and an ABA therapist supporting autistic children, and she knew from a young age that her career would be built around kids. Born in El Salvador and raised in East Boston, Jennifer is fluent in English and Spanish and is happy to help Spanish-speaking families.
At Sandmagination, Jennifer brings that classroom and therapeutic experience to the play floor, helping children feel comfortable, supported, and free to explore at their own pace. She loves watching kids discover something new, and she works to make sure every family feels welcome from the moment they walk in.
